Through the kind donations of our benefactors, Bakhita Kids was able to donate six car seats, two pack ‘n’ plays, and baby clothes.

Bakhita Kids has partnered with Immanuel House in Martinsburg, West Virginia, to supply diapers in sizes 4, 5, and 6.

Bakhita Kids was proud to partner with Cherubs for Change to provide items such as clothing, food, diapers, toys, shoes, blankets and coats, and more to refugees who recently were evacuated from the country, following the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

In August 2021, the co-founder of Bakhita Kids took a drive to West Virginia! After 18 months of supporting a few organizations they were able to meet face to face! She visited Parsons, Morgantown and Fairmont all in one day! It was so nice to put a face with the name!

Thanks to the generosity of our trusted advisor, Nick Petrelli who serves as a Principal and Portfolio Manager at Maryland Capital Management, Bakhita Kids has expanded to Baltimore, Maryland. With a $5,000 donation from Nick and his company, the first shipment of items for children went out the following day (April 16, 2021).

Bakhita Kids President and Founder Barbara Froio, met with Congressman Alex Mooney, who represents West Virginia’s 2nd District, in Charles Town, West Virginia.

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 100 backpacks were distributed to children in Marion County, West Virginia. The supplies for these children were donated by Bakhita Kids, who worked with The Marion County Family Resource Network to fill the gap for under-served youth
